Graham Gunn is the State Member for Stuart, one of the largest electorates in South Australia.
He grew up on the family farm at Mount Cooper with two brothers, attended Mount Cooper Primary School and Scotch College, Torrens Park. Graham had a keen interest in farming from an early age and after finishing school returned to the family farm where he still operates a successful farming business with his son.
Graham has been a member of the Liberal Party since 1965, and was a member of the Streaky Bay District Council from 1966 to 1970 prior to entering politics.
He first stood for election in 1970 and won the House of Assembly seat of Eyre.
Graham represented Eyre from 1970 to 1997 then, due to the redistribution of the electoral boundaries, contested and won the seat of Stuart which he holds up to this day.
Graham has been involved in many parliamentary committees and had the honour of being the Speaker of the House of Assembly between 1994 and 1997. He is a member of many sporting, agricultural and service groups in the electorate. He has a keen interest in cricket and current affairs, enjoys reading, travelling in the far north of the State, and spending time with his family.

Graham is married to Jan, has two sons and three granddaughters.
